What is the S.M.A.R.T. ToT Curriculum?

The SMART ToT Curriculum includes:
– five modular training units on AI, digital marketing, adult learning design, green entrepreneurship, and facilitation;
– competence framework aligned with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF);
– ready-to-use lesson plans, templates, and toolkits (e.g. SMART-AI Toolkit, business plan guides, KPI sheets);
– assessment and micro-credential system with Youthpass and EQF recognition;
– peer-learning and mentoring models connecting trainers across Europe;
– impact and sustainability plan ensuring long-term use and policy relevance.

The SMART ToT Curriculum transforms ordinary trainers into digital change-makers who bring AI and sustainability to life in rural Europe. It sparks a ripple effect of innovation that lasts far beyond the classroom.
It can be used to train adult educators, mentors, and community leaders to:
- integrate AI and digital tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Canva, Google Analytics) into their teaching and mentoring;
– design and deliver non-formal learning programmes for rural entrepreneurs;
– promote green and sustainable business practices;
– develop EQF-aligned competences and issue micro-credentials;
– build local innovation hubs and lifelong learning networks.
